FEATURED BOYS DISCOVERY: YATI

TECHNICAL EVALUATION & HIGHLIGHTS

Observe how relentless a vertical threat he is. Yati is a high-octane, front-foot winger who rejects the modern trend of 'safe' lateral passing; he is a pure 1v1 specialist who hunts isolations. In an era of cautious wingers, Yati is a rare out-and-out disruptor, utilizing explosive speed and balance manipulation with subtle, high-impact flair. He prioritizes direct take-ons and dismantles defensive structures through a sheer volume of duels. He is an incessant wide threat who withstands mobbed defending without losing physical form—a technical consistency supported by a Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test (Level 2) result of 22:2 (Excellent to Superior) and an estimated 61.1 mL/kg/min VO2 Max. Yati is a high-output, box-to-box modern hybrid excelling in fearless 1v1 battles, sustained possession, and disruption.

SCOUT'S NOTE

Yati is a compositional, aerobic outlier overlooked beyond local circles in Eswatini. He competed in the only international competition of his career, representing the Kingdom of Eswatini in the 2024 U17 COSAFA Cup as a substitute. He had faded into obscurity until recently signing with Ezulweni United F.C. in Eswatini's top flight, transitioning seamlessly from a 4th-tier informal team. This highlights his tenacious mindset and determination. Yati's character and talent are exceptional; he is a standout prospect in African football and beyond if positioned accurately. Identified through our Player Discovery Program, his physical profile is outstanding, and these are metrics that were achieved without prior exposure to the Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test (Level 2), formal conditioning, or optimized nutrition, indicating significant untapped physical potential. Yati’s technical profile was forged on unrefined surfaces without formal academy structures or specialized coaching. His ability to maintain technical integrity and 1v1 precision on unpredictable terrain indicates elite-level reactive technicality and significant untapped potential for transition to professional-grade pitches and elite environments.
